Unfortunately, the effects of this are already being felt. The station I used to DJ for, DnDRadio closed it's doors as of 12:01am EST today. Also effected was our sister stations MMO Radio, and Linage2 Radio, all stations dedicated to gamers by gamers. Unfortunately, our CEO decided that the commments from Sound Exchange, and the new fees coming down the line would be too prohibitive to continue to broadcast. So now alot of us DJs are seeking new stations overseas, as it seems that Sound Exchange has done what they wanted so badly, made it nearly impossible for Internet Radio to be based in the US.
